If you contact us, we receive the name, email address and message you provide, along with the submission date and page. We use these details to respond and handle your enquiry. Please leave passwords, payment details and sensitive personal information out of messages.
When you comment on an article, WordPress records your comment, display name, email address, optional website, IP address and browser information. Your comment, display name and any website link may appear publicly. Your email address is not displayed with the comment. Comments may be reviewed or removed to manage spam and abuse.
Comment avatars can use Gravatar. This sends an email-derived identifier and a browser request to that service. See Automattic’s privacy policy for how it handles that information.
Our hosting and security services process technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps and browser details. We use these services to deliver the site, understand requests and investigate errors or abuse. Service providers may process information where their systems operate.
WordPress and hosting services may use cookies for site operation and security. If you choose to remember your comment details, WordPress saves them in your browser for future comments. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
Games use browser storage to remember progress and preferences. Some games also cache files for offline play. Clearing site storage can remove those saves; exported backups or save codes remain under your control. A different browser or device does not automatically receive your progress.
Contact messages remain in private email correspondence. Comments and their associated information may remain with an article until removed. Hosting logs and backups follow the service provider’s retention settings.
You can ask about information you have supplied, request a correction, or request its removal through our contact form. We may need to confirm that a request relates to you. Some records may need to be kept for security or legal reasons.
Links to other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. We will update this page when our site’s handling of information changes.
